DESCRIPTION

LogicMark makes personal emergency response systems (PERS) — wearable pendants and wristbands that let seniors and vulnerable individuals call for help in an emergency. The core use case is aging in place: a user presses a button to connect to family, caregivers, or 911. LogicMark sells through three channels: the U.S. Veterans Health Administration (its largest customer, with over 700,000 devices sold since 2012), direct-to-consumer via its own eCommerce site and Amazon, and B2B through dealers, resellers, and healthcare facilities. LogicMark also holds a GSA contract enabling sales across federal, state, and local government agencies. The product line spans no-monthly-fee unmonitored devices (the traditional core, especially for the VHA) and newer monitored devices that carry a monthly subscription fee for 24/7 professional monitoring, GPS, and fall detection. The business currently leans on one-time government hardware sales, but LogicMark is actively shifting toward monitored subscriptions for more predictable recurring revenue. Longer-term, LogicMark is building out a connected care platform it calls CPaaS, integrating wearables, in-home sensors, and AI-driven analytics to move from reactive alerting toward predictive care. A connected home hub and a wearable watch are in development. LogicMark holds over 45 issued or pending patents and sees IP licensing as a potential additional revenue stream.
