VYNE Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing small molecule drugs for inflammatory and immune-mediated diseases, with no approved products and no commercial revenue. VYNE's pipeline centers on BET (bromodomain and extra-terminal domain) inhibitors, which suppress inflammation by blocking the NF-kB signaling pathway, licensed exclusively from Tay Therapeutics. VYNE has two assets: repibresib (VYN201), a topical pan-bromodomain BET inhibitor gel, and VYN202, an oral BD2-selective BET inhibitor. Repibresib failed its Phase 2b trial in nonsegmental vitiligo in July 2025, and VYNE is seeking an external partner to continue development. VYN202 entered a Phase 1b trial in plaque psoriasis but was hit with an FDA partial clinical hold after testicular toxicity appeared in dogs; the hold was partially lifted for female subjects, and VYNE is now redirecting VYN202 toward other immune-mediated diseases. VYNE funds operations entirely through equity raises and outsources manufacturing to CMOs and R&D execution to CROs, operating with just 10 full-time employees. The company is effectively winding down its current form through a reverse merger with private-stage Yarrow Biosciences, which is developing YB-101, an antibody targeting the TSH receptor for Graves Disease. Post-merger, pre-VYNE stockholders will own roughly 3% of the combined company, which will rename itself Yarrow Bioscience and focus on YB-101, while VYNE's BET inhibitor assets may be sold or licensed.
