US Lighting Group (USLG) is a small composite manufacturer based near Cleveland, Ohio. Its core business is Cortes Campers, a brand of molded fiberglass tow-behind RV campers that targets outdoor enthusiasts, retirees, and younger buyers seeking compact, durable camping trailers. The flagship product is the Cortes 17, a 17-foot single-axle tow-behind camper built using all-composite "no-wood" construction. USLG added a 16-foot king-bed model in 2023. USLG positions Cortes Campers at the high end of the small fiberglass camper niche, competing on durability, weather resistance, and amenities, and backs the product with a seven-year fiberglass warranty. Cortes Campers sells through a dealer network of 36 locations across the U.S. and Canada, supported by floor planning arrangements that help dealers finance inventory. All manufacturing is done in-house at a 26,000-square-foot facility through a subsidiary, MIGMarine Corporation. The manufacturing process is mold-constrained, with each mold producing one unit per day; capacity expands by adding molds. USLG manufactures the fiberglass shells in-house and sources components from third-party suppliers. Beyond Cortes Campers, USLG is developing three early-stage businesses: Futuro Houses (prefabricated molded fiberglass homes), Fusion X Marine (fiberglass speedboats), and Fusion X Automotive (composite aftermarket auto body parts), none of which generated meaningful revenue as of FY23. The business is early-stage, with Cortes Campers only beginning to ship in H2 2022 and 23 full-time employees as of year-end 2023.
