DESCRIPTION

Defense Technologies International (DTII) is a development-stage security technology company. Through its subsidiary Passive Security Scan, DTII holds an exclusive worldwide license to the Passive Portal, a walk-through weapons detection scanner that uses earth magnetic technology to detect concealed threats without emitting radiation. This distinguishes it from conventional scanners that rely on X-ray, microwave, or radio signals. DTII targets schools, hospitals, public buildings, small airports, and hospitality venues. The company sells Passive Portal units and elevated body temperature detection stations to end users and distributors, and licenses the underlying technology from Controlled Capture Systems, paying a 5% royalty on gross sales. DTII has manufactured 35 units total and sold only 10 to two distributors, with many units used for demonstrations or donated to prospective customers. The company operates an assembly facility in Dallas with capacity for up to 500 units per month, though actual production remains minimal. DTII is pre-revenue at scale and explicitly conditions any meaningful marketing campaign on securing additional funding. Early validation efforts include a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement signed with DHS Science & Technology and testing by DHS's National Urban Security Technology Laboratory, which the company intends to use to build credibility with institutional buyers.
