DESCRIPTION

Streamex is an early-stage financial technology company focused on tokenizing real-world assets (RWAs), with gold as its first product. Streamex operates a blockchain-based platform that allows accredited and qualified investors to access tokenized representations of physical assets through its online app. The company's first product, GLDY, is a tokenized gold security where each token represents a fractional interest in a Cayman Islands SPV holding physical gold in an LBMA-accredited vault, combined with a gold leasing program that generates yield for investors — a structure the company argues has historically been difficult for non-institutional investors to access. Streamex's revenue model is fee-based, earning through token issuance fees, transaction and trading fees on secondary market activity, and yield spreads between the leasing return generated by the SPV and the amount passed through to investors. The platform is designed to act as infrastructure rather than take direct commodity price exposure, meaning its economics are driven by token volume rather than gold prices. Longer-term, Streamex plans to expand the platform beyond gold into industrial metals, energy royalties, and other RWAs, and potentially serve as infrastructure for third-party issuers. Streamex also retains a legacy biomedical technology business built around PURE EP, a signal processing system used during cardiac ablation procedures, though this business is winding down hardware sales and focusing narrowly on software algorithm R&D, with two majority-owned subsidiaries effectively dormant. The company is evaluating strategic alternatives for all legacy medical assets.
