Yatra Online is an Indian online travel company that serves both leisure and corporate travelers through its website (yatra.com) and mobile apps. On the consumer side, Yatra lets customers search and book flights, hotels, holiday packages, buses, trains, and cabs across India and internationally, giving access to over 400 airlines and roughly 80,000 hotels across India and over 2 million hotels globally. On the corporate side, Yatra claims to be India's largest independent corporate travel services provider, offering a SaaS-based travel management platform that integrates with corporate ERP and HR systems to manage bookings and enforce travel policies. Yatra serves over 1,300 large corporate customers and roughly 59,000 registered SME customers, and distributes through a network of travel agents to reach smaller cities. Yatra earns revenue through airline commissions, GDS per-segment fees, hotel commissions and markups, and corporate SaaS fees. Air ticketing is Yatra's largest segment by volume but carries thin margins; hotels, packages, and MICE (corporate events and group travel) are smaller but faster-growing and higher-margin. Yatra is deliberately shifting its mix toward corporate travel and MICE, and away from discount-driven B2C air volume, which has come under pressure as airlines like IndiGo offer exclusive fares only through their own direct channels. Yatra acquired Globe Travels in 2024 to expand its MICE capabilities, and has launched an AI-powered expense management product to deepen corporate client relationships.
