DESCRIPTION

SMC Entertainment is a holding company whose sole operating business is Fyniti Global Equities EBT, an AI-driven SaaS platform for financial professionals. SMC acquired Fyniti in April 2023, and also recently acquired Bateau Asset Management, a boutique Australian multi-manager investment firm, in January 2025. Fyniti's core product helps RIAs, hedge fund managers, broker-dealers, banks, and CPAs build and manage customized equity "baskets" — portfolios of stocks with AI-generated weightings and daily rebalancing alerts. The platform ingests 20,000–30,000 data points per day from market data, macroeconomic indicators, news sentiment, company fundamentals, and alternative data. Fyniti's "IQ Engine" uses machine learning algorithms to generate portfolio adjustment recommendations, though financial professionals retain final trading authority. Fyniti charges subscribers a SaaS fee, with additional fees for advanced features. The platform is pre-revenue — the commercial launch is planned for end of Q2 2025, with beta testing underway. SMC has an accumulated deficit of roughly $26M and has funded operations entirely through equity and debt issuances, with auditors flagging going concern doubts. The company employs five full-time employees and seven contractors, with recurring costs tied largely to third-party data providers.
