DESCRIPTION

Stimcell Energetics (formerly Cell MedX) is a pre-revenue biotech and medical device company developing microcurrent electrical therapy (MEY) devices targeting diabetes management, pain relief, and related conditions like neuropathy and hypertension. Stimcell's core product platform, eBalance® Technology, delivers subsensory micro-amperage electrical current through the skin to peripheral nerves. The two primary products built on this platform are the eBalance® Pro System, a clinical-grade device for healthcare practitioners, and the eBalance® Home System, a consumer device for self-administered treatment. Both systems offer pre-programmed treatment modes covering wellness, pain management, and a dual-purpose setting. Stimcell's intended business model combines one-time device sales with recurring monthly subscription fees tied to ongoing treatment packages. The company is currently generating no revenue. Its Canadian Health Canada Class II Medical Device Licenses were suspended in June 2023, and its U.S. FDA 510(k) clearance application was withdrawn — both due to lack of funding. All R&D has been halted pending new financing. In February 2025, Stimcell announced a partnership with ADM Tronics Unlimited to redesign the eBalance® into a smaller, lower-cost consumer wellness device — bypassing the FDA medical device approval process — targeting a market launch in early 2026. The company has no employees beyond its executive officers, who serve as independent consultants, and outsources all manufacturing and technical work. Any path forward depends entirely on raising new capital.
