Daré Bioscience is a clinical-stage women's health biotech focused on developing and commercializing products for conditions including sexual dysfunction, contraception, menopause, vaginal health, and infectious disease. Rather than discovering drugs from scratch, Daré in-licenses or acquires rights to proprietary formulations with existing clinical proof-of-concept, then develops novel delivery formats — topical creams, intravaginal rings, vaginal suppositories — and advances them to market. Daré's nearest-term commercial product is DARE to PLAY, a topical sildenafil cream for female sexual arousal launched in late 2025 through FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facilities on a cash-pay basis. A vaginal probiotic consumer health product (DARE to RESTORE) and a compounded intravaginal ring for menopausal hormone therapy (DARE to RECLAIM) are expected to follow in 2026 and early 2027, respectively. Daré also holds rights to XACIATO, an FDA-approved bacterial vaginosis gel licensed to Organon, and is advancing Ovaprene, a hormone-free monthly contraceptive, through Phase 3 trials. Daré operates with no owned manufacturing and no direct sales force, relying on 503B facilities, dispensing pharmacies, and telehealth platforms to reach patients. A meaningful portion of its pipeline is funded by non-dilutive grants from NIH, ARPA-H, and the Gates Foundation. Daré has not yet generated material commercial revenue and has funded operations through equity issuances, royalty monetization, and grants.
