Cavitation Technologies (CTi) is a small technology company built around its proprietary Nano Reactor® technology, which uses hydrodynamic cavitation — the rapid formation and collapse of microscopic bubbles in liquid — to process industrial fluids more efficiently than conventional methods. CTi's historical revenue came almost entirely from selling Nano Reactor® devices to Desmet, its global distribution partner, for use in vegetable oil refining. In October 2024, CTi assigned its vegetable oil refining patents to Desmet in exchange for $880K, effectively ending its only meaningful revenue stream. CTi is now pivoting to three new application areas: oilfield produced water treatment, agricultural water treatment, and alcoholic beverage enhancement. In oilfield water treatment, CTi targets the Permian Basin through its 50%-owned JV, Enviro WaterTek, selling LPN™ reactors and earning usage fees based on volumes processed. In agriculture, CTi is running trials at a Canadian greenhouse farm targeting algae and bacterial contamination in irrigation water. In beverages, CTi holds a 19.9% stake in Alchemy Beverages and licenses its technology for use in Barmuze, a home appliance designed to enhance alcoholic beverages. CTi is also developing a patent-pending hydro-plasma water treatment technology combining cavitation and cold plasma. None of these new initiatives have generated meaningful revenue. CTi has only three full-time employees and relies on external financing to fund operations.
