Allot is an Israeli networking technology company that sells two types of solutions to communication service providers (CSPs), telecom operators, and enterprises. The first is Security-as-a-Service (SECaaS), sold under the Allot Secure brand, which lets CSPs offer cybersecurity protection — anti-malware, parental controls, DNS filtering, IoT security, DDoS protection, and more — to their end customers directly through the network. Because protection runs at the network level, it requires no end-user setup, which Allot argues drives higher attach rates. The second is Network Intelligence (AllotSmart), Allot's legacy business, which provides CSPs and enterprises with traffic management, congestion control, quality of experience optimization, and regulatory compliance tools via its SG-Tera III hardware/software platform. Network intelligence accounted for 63% of FY25 revenue, with security solutions at 37%. Allot's business model is split between lumpy, project-based CapEx sales for network intelligence hardware and recurring SECaaS revenue, where Allot and the CSP share subscription fees from end users or charge a fixed annual fee. Recurring revenue exceeded 60% of total FY25 revenue. Allot sells directly and through channel partners including distributors, resellers, and system integrators, with notable customers including Verizon Business, Vodafone, and Telefonica. Europe is Allot's largest region at 43% of FY25 revenue. Allot's stated strategy is to pivot toward becoming a cybersecurity-first company by adding new CSP partners, expanding within existing ones, and upselling new products such as off-network protection and firewall-as-a-service.
