DESCRIPTION

Avricore Health is a small Canadian health technology company with one core product: HealthTab, a point-of-care blood testing platform deployed in community pharmacies. HealthTab lets patients get a finger-prick blood test at their local pharmacy, with results for up to 27 biomarkers — covering heart, liver, and kidney function — delivered in about 12 minutes. Patients access results through a secure portal and can share them with their healthcare providers. Avricore's direct customers are pharmacies, not patients; Avricore installs HealthTab systems at pharmacy locations, enabling pharmacists to offer a new, fee-generating service beyond traditional drug dispensing. Revenue scales with the number of deployed devices and the volume of tests performed per device. Avricore owns the hardware and bears the upfront capital cost, but redeployment of existing devices to new locations is capital-efficient. In Canada, Avricore is transitioning from a concluded partnership with Shoppers Drug Mart to Rexall, with 14 locations live as of May 2025 and plans to expand further. In the UK, Avricore is targeting NHS-aligned pharmacy networks, supported by NHS Pharmacy First funding commitments and a reseller agreement with Abbott Rapid Diagnostics UK & Ireland. A secondary revenue opportunity exists in licensing anonymized, de-identified biomarker data to pharmaceutical and life sciences companies as real-world evidence, though this has not yet become a meaningful revenue contributor.
