HNO International is an early-stage green hydrogen company developing systems for hydrogen production, storage, and dispensing. HNO's core products include the HyGrid System, a solar/hydrogen-powered microgrid for off-grid power; the Compact Hydrogen Refueling Station (CHRS), a modular unit producing 50–200 kg/day sold at ~$375,000 per unit; the Scalable Hydrogen Energy Platform (SHEP), a containerized production system for industrial customers; and the Hydrogen Carbon Cleaner (HCC), a device that removes carbon deposits from internal combustion engines. HNO produces hydrogen via electrolysis powered by renewable energy, rather than the carbon-intensive steam methane reforming process used by incumbent industrial gas producers. HNO's business model involves direct equipment sales for the CHRS and SHEP, recurring revenue via power purchase agreements for HyGrid installations (where HNO retains ownership of the ~$2.5M system), direct hydrogen sales from its planned Katy, Texas production facility targeting 1,000 kg/day, and HCC device sales to engine service providers. As of October 2025, HNO is pre-revenue, has only two full-time employees, and has not yet commenced commercial hydrogen production. The Katy facility was not yet operational, and HNO's ability to execute its growth strategy depends heavily on raising additional capital.
