Fortuna Mining is a gold-focused precious metals miner with operations in Latin America and West Africa. Fortuna operates three mines: Séguéla in Côte d'Ivoire, an open pit gold mine and the company's flagship asset; Lindero in Argentina, an open pit heap leach gold mine; and Caylloma in Peru, an underground silver, lead, and zinc mine. Gold dominates the business, accounting for roughly 86% of revenue. Gold doré from Séguéla and Lindero is sold primarily to precious metals merchants Auramet and Stonex. Caylloma's silver-lead and zinc concentrates are sold to international traders. Fortuna does not hedge gold, meaning financial results are highly leveraged to spot gold prices. Fortuna divested two mines in 2025 — Yaramoko in Burkina Faso and San Jose in Mexico — to streamline the portfolio. Fortuna's growth strategy targets production of more than 500,000 gold equivalent ounces per year within roughly 24 months, up from current levels. The two core growth projects are Diamba Sud in Senegal, an advanced open pit gold development project targeting a mid-2026 final investment decision, and a processing plant expansion at Séguéla targeting annual production in excess of 200,000 ounces. Fortuna also holds early-stage exploration positions in Guinea and a minority stake in Awalé Resources, which holds exploration properties in Côte d'Ivoire.
