Madison Technologies is a shell company with a single employee, no revenue, and minimal operations. Madison's stated plan is to launch BlockchainTV (BCTV), a 24/7 television and streaming network focused on cryptocurrency and blockchain news and entertainment, intended to broadcast from Niagara Falls, Ontario. The intended business model has three components: advertising and sponsorships across over-the-air stations and streaming platforms like Roku, YouTube, and Hulu; e-commerce sales to the BCTV audience; and leasing channels on its over-the-air distribution platform to third-party networks. None of these revenue streams are active. Madison previously owned a small portfolio of television broadcast stations through its subsidiary Sovryn Holdings, but those assets were foreclosed upon by creditors in early 2023. Since a change of control in late 2023 — triggered by debt defaults that allowed creditors to exercise voting rights over pledged shares and replace the board — Madison has had no meaningful operations, and its assets consist almost entirely of cash. BCTV has not launched, Madison has no intellectual property or office space, and approximately $3.5M in debt is currently in default. Management acknowledges it cannot guarantee the timing or success of any business plan execution.
