Scientific Energy operates two distinct businesses: a food delivery platform in Macau and a graphite trading operation. The food delivery business runs through the Aomi App, which connects consumers in Macau with local restaurants and merchants for ordering, payment, and delivery. Aomi holds roughly 50% of the Macau food delivery market and served over 5,600 merchants and 1.82M registered users as of year-end 2024. The platform earns revenue through merchant commissions on transactions, delivery fees, and advertising placements. Scientific Energy is also expanding into Hong Kong through Citysearch and Celebrity Catering, which focus on group dining for corporate customers. The graphite trading business operates through GEI, which sources natural flake graphite from the Gallois mine in Madagascar and sells it to industrial customers globally. GEI acts as a middleman — it buys graphite ore, outsources processing to third-party manufacturers, and delivers finished product to customers. GEI pays its supplier in company stock rather than cash, and its margins reflect the spread between procurement and processing costs and customer pricing. Food delivery accounted for roughly 64% of FY2024 revenue and graphite trading accounted for the remaining 36%. Scientific Energy also holds a 50% stake in Gold Gold Gold, a Hong Kong-based physical gold trading platform, though this is a joint venture and is not consolidated into the company's financials.
