DESCRIPTION

Airgain is a small-cap wireless connectivity company that makes antennas, embedded modems, and integrated wireless systems for devices, vehicles, and networks. Airgain serves three end markets: Consumer, Enterprise, and Automotive. In Consumer, Airgain sells embedded antennas for home gateways, Wi-Fi routers, and fixed wireless access devices, working directly with OEMs and operators through a design-win model where revenue follows production volume. In Enterprise, Airgain sells pre-certified cellular modems under the NimbeLink brand that allow industrial IoT customers to skip the carrier certification process, plus enterprise antennas for IoT and gateway applications. In Automotive, Airgain sells fleet vehicle antennas and the AirgainConnect Fleet (AC-Fleet), a roof-mounted 5G vehicle gateway combining modem, multi-carrier eSIM, Wi-Fi, GPS, and router in a single unit. Airgain is transitioning from a low-ASP component supplier toward higher-value system products. AC-Fleet and a 5G smart network repeater called Lighthouse — which extends cellular coverage without fiber backhaul — both carry materially higher ASPs and attach recurring cloud subscriptions for device management and analytics. Lighthouse recently received FCC certification and has an early commercial partnership with Omantel. Airgain uses outsourced contract manufacturing across Asia, Mexico, and the U.S. The core antenna and modem businesses generate steady cash flow that funds investment in AC-Fleet and Lighthouse, where meaningful revenue scale is expected in 2026.
