Dominari Holdings is a small New York-based financial services holding company operating through its primary subsidiary, Dominari Securities, a dually registered broker-dealer and investment adviser. The company targets high-net-worth individuals, families, corporate executives, and institutional clients. Dominari Securities is an introducing broker-dealer, meaning it routes trades through third-party clearing partners rather than self-clearing. The firm offers wealth management, investment banking, sales and trading, asset management, and insurance products. On the wealth management side, clients choose between transaction-based brokerage accounts or fee-based advisory accounts. The investment banking business focuses on M&A advisory and capital markets transactions for emerging growth and middle market companies, primarily in healthcare, technology, energy, and financial services. Dominari also runs a private equity business through special purpose vehicles that pool investor capital into funds targeting private companies in technology, med-tech, defense, and AI. Insurance products are sold directly and through a 50/50 joint venture with Heritage Strategies. Revenue comes from brokerage commissions, asset-based advisory fees, investment banking fees, fund management fees, and insurance commissions. Dominari was originally a biotech company (formerly AIkido Pharma), and pivoted to financial services in 2022, acquiring a small broker-dealer from Fieldpoint Private Bank & Trust in 2023 as the foundation of its current business. Beyond building out Dominari Securities, the holding company also makes principal investments, as evidenced by its sale of a position in American Bitcoin for $32.4M in proceeds in late 2025.
