JetBlue is a U.S. leisure-focused airline operating primarily on East Coast, Caribbean, Latin American, and select transatlantic routes. JetBlue's network is built around six focus cities — New York (JFK), Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Los Angeles, and San Juan — with 95% of routes touching at least one of these cities. JetBlue positions itself as a middle-market carrier: a better product than ultra-low-cost carriers at competitive prices. All fares include free carry-on bags, Wi-Fi, seatback entertainment, and snacks. JetBlue operates a simplified fleet of 288 Airbus A220 and A320-family aircraft. Beyond standard economy, JetBlue offers EvenMore (premium economy with extra legroom), Mint (lie-flat business class on select routes), and is rolling out a domestic first-class cabin across its non-Mint fleet by end of 2027. JetBlue sells seats primarily through its own website (~75% of bookings are direct). Revenue is driven by seat capacity, fare levels, load factors, and premium product mix. Loyalty revenue, generated through the TrueBlue program and a co-branded Barclays Mastercard, represented over 13% of total revenue in 2025. A 2025 partnership with United Airlines expands TrueBlue's earn/burn utility across United's global network. JetBlue also owns Paisly, a capital-light ancillary travel subsidiary that sells vacation packages, hotels, and car rentals, and is white-labeling its platform for United. JetBlue's largest costs are fuel and labor. JetBlue is executing a multi-year transformation plan called JetForward, targeting $850M–$950M of cumulative incremental EBIT through 2027 via network reconfiguration, premium expansion, and cost reduction.
