DESCRIPTION

Integer is one of the largest medical device contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs), designing and manufacturing components, subassemblies, and finished devices on behalf of large OEMs such as Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic — which together accounted for roughly 49% of FY25 sales. Integer operates across two core product lines: Cardio & Vascular (~60% of sales), covering interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, structural heart, neurovascular, and peripheral vascular products; and Cardiac Rhythm Management & Neuromodulation (~36% of sales), covering implantable pulse generators, leads, and components for pacemakers, defibrillators, spinal cord stimulators, and deep brain stimulators. Integer is exiting its Other Markets segment, which includes portable medical batteries, with final sales expected in 2026. Integer's revenue comes from two sources: production revenue from ongoing high-volume manufacturing, and product development revenue from co-developing next-generation devices with OEM customers — the latter being a leading indicator of future production ramps. Most of Integer's work is sole-sourced, with roughly 70% of sales under multi-year contracts, creating sticky, long-term customer relationships. Integer's growth strategy centers on getting designed into high-growth device programs early, then converting those relationships into long-term production contracts. Integer supplements organic growth with tuck-in acquisitions to deepen capabilities and vertical integration, having deployed over $700M in acquisitions since 2021.
