Metalink is a dormant Israeli shell company with no active business operations. Originally a fabless semiconductor company, Metalink designed DSL chipsets and sold them to telecom equipment OEMs, outsourcing all manufacturing to third-party foundries in Taiwan. Metalink also operated a WLAN business, which it sold to Lantiq in 2010. After issuing an end-of-life notice on its DSL products in 2008, Metalink made its final product shipment in early 2015 and has had no revenue since 2016. Today, Metalink holds liquid assets while its board seeks to identify and execute a business combination or reverse merger with an operating company. The company has no employees and generates no revenue.
