Mannatech is a network marketing company that sells proprietary nutritional supplements, skincare, and weight management products across 25 markets in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia/Pacific. The company's products are centered on glyconutrients — plant-derived sugars that Mannatech argues support cellular communication and immune function. The flagship product line, Ambrotose, is a polysaccharide blend designed to support the immune system and anchors the broader portfolio. Other key products include TruHealth (a weight management system), Optimal Support Packets (a daily nutritional bundle), the Luminovation skincare line, and an Essentials sub-line of basic dietary supplements. Mannatech sells through a network of independent associates — who buy products for personal use and/or resell them and earn commissions by building distributor networks — as well as preferred customers who buy at associate pricing without participating in the compensation plan. Mannatech does not manufacture its own products, contracting out all production, so unit economics depend on the spread between pricing and contract manufacturing costs. A significant share of revenue — roughly 35% to 43% of net sales — is paid back to associates as commissions, which is a structural cost of the network marketing model. Revenue is driven primarily by the size and activity of the associate and preferred customer base, which totaled approximately 114,000 active positions at year-end 2025. In China, where multi-level marketing is restricted, Mannatech operates through a subsidiary called Meitai that sells directly to consumers via cross-border e-commerce.
