DESCRIPTION

Track Group makes GPS ankle monitoring devices and software for tracking people under criminal justice supervision — parolees, probationers, pre-trial defendants, and similar populations. Track Group's flagship product is the ReliAlert GPS ankle bracelet, which includes GPS tracking, cellular connectivity, tamper detection, and two-way voice communication. The bracelet pairs with Track Group's cloud-based software platforms, which let supervising agencies monitor offenders' locations in real time, set geographic exclusion zones, and run behavioral analytics. Beyond core GPS monitoring, Track Group offers alcohol monitoring via a smartphone breathalyzer app, a domestic violence victim-protection app, and a reentry support app. Track Group sells exclusively to government customers — state corrections departments, county probation and sheriff's offices, pre-trial agencies, and federal agencies in the U.S., plus Ministries of Justice internationally. Track Group operates in roughly 40 U.S. states and select international markets. Track Group recently divested its Chilean subsidiary, making the business now predominantly U.S.-focused. Rather than selling hardware outright, Track Group leases devices to agencies on a daily rate basis, bundled with monitoring center services, software, and analytics into an end-to-end subscription contract. Revenue scales with the number of enrolled offenders, and because contracts are long-term, revenue is recurring and predictable. Track Group's growth strategy centers on winning and renewing government contracts, expanding its device-agnostic platform, and developing adjacent smartphone-based monitoring apps.
