DESCRIPTION

Stoneridge is a global supplier of electronics systems for commercial vehicles, off-highway equipment, and passenger vehicles. After divesting its Control Devices segment in January 2026, Stoneridge operates two businesses: Electronics and Stoneridge Brazil. The Electronics segment — roughly 85% of revenue — designs and manufactures advanced electronics for commercial vehicle and off-highway OEMs, sold primarily on a sole-source basis under multi-year model contracts. The flagship product is MirrorEye, a camera monitor system (CMS) that replaces traditional side and rearview mirrors on heavy-duty trucks and buses with external cameras and in-cab digital displays. MirrorEye improves safety and fuel efficiency by reducing aerodynamic drag, and revenue scales with both OEM production volumes and the percentage of buyers who select the system. Beyond MirrorEye, the Electronics segment sells driver information systems, the SmartTube Tachograph (required by European regulation to record driver hours), ECUs, and fleet telematics products. Stoneridge Brazil serves the South American market with vehicle tracking, security alarms, infotainment, and fleet telematics, split across aftermarket, OEM, and direct monitoring subscriptions. Stoneridge sells to OEMs including Volvo, Daimler, DAF, Kenworth, and Peterbilt. The company's growth strategy centers on expanding MirrorEye take rates, launching platform extensions like connected trailer systems, and growing Brazil OEM supply. Management targets $850M–$1B in revenue by 2030.
